    Democratic presidential nomination
The 270 remaining unaligned party figures known as superdelegates hold the key to the nominations

Which way are they going to vote

    Clinton
    or
    Obama

Tell us who you think will get these votes ?

    Thanks

I don't know who will get the votes, but I am very unhappy with the choices. A vote for the lesser of two evils, in the end, is still a vote for evil.

No offense if you like one the candidates in the OP, I'm just not happy with either.

I'm almost at the point, where I just wish it would end. lol

It getting harder to distinguish (republican & democrat) from each other, which is not a good sign.

No kidding, at this point it seems like either party means bigger government and more spending. I don't know where they plan on getting the money from. If they plan on continuing to borrow a couple billion dollars a day from China, things are not looking good.

At this point, I would be willing to settle for someone in office who is going to stop the reckless spending and borrowing.

I second that. The reckless spending is what gets me. I can just imagine the type of educational or medical system we could have in exchange for the war.

And to add a quote from the movie Independence Day: (which I think sums it up quite nicely hehe)

I believe the question asked was how the superdelegates will go, not who we would vote for if we had the choice.

Clinton is done. Last night's tally - creamed in NC, virtual tie in Indiana (in a state with widely reported Republican switching to Clinton, presumably a Limbaugh-esque tactic) - will provoke the final move away from her via the superdelegates. Expect a tidal wave of superdelegate pronouncements to Obama, and the end.

That's impossible, absent a complete trouncing of Obama in every single remaining contest, and a tidal wave of superdelegates her way. Simply not going to happen.

She's not trying to win. She's seeking 2012.

The superdelegates can get Clinton into the race, but they risk provoking a revolt, voting someone in who is less popular. It is not easy to go against mass opinion. I think they are more likely to follow the crowd and vote Obama in.

Supers vote for one of three reasons: by their conscience, for the good of the party (in nominating an electable nominee), or because they believe they should represent what the Democratic electorate wishes. None of these three reasons are mutually exclusive.

We can't know the first. Under either of the last two reasons, Obama is now the clear choice.

She's done. Russert called it right, I think, last night - declaring Obama is now the nominee, and although Clinton will limp along for a couple more weeks (by nature, and as strategy for 2012, in my opinion), she's over.

Yeah, she's done. Unless videos surface of Obama and Rev Wright engaging in a cocaine fueled sodomy fest or something. That's about the only thing that can save her now.

I think over the past 8 years the Republican party got way skewed, pushing a government that borders on enormous corruption.

On policy it seems clinton and obama are very similar.

On personality I'd go with obama. (during the primaries I voted for clinton)

I suspect the super delegates will skew towards obama.

lets get the main election going. get the big show on the road....finally!!!!

As I understand it, a few on this forum have contracted with Industrial Light and Magic to make such a digital witch's brew, and plan a youtube release come June 7. :D
