    hi guys,

what would you "invest" with $100-200 on making money online?

I have time, willing to learn and can spend 12 hours infront of my lappy

I'm newbie and not really good at anything, but i know what's RSS and proxy is :p so that doesn't make me an average surfer right? though i don't know how to start a proxy...

could somebody give a recommendation, that is with this little money i may earn a decent income for living by working hard

i know the internet has a lot of things and so many folks out there are wasting time - including myself

hope some of the dp members can give an efficient way for me to kick-start my journey of earning decent income online

    thanks a lot

Dont start a webhosting business unless your willing to provide tech support to idiots :p Its not as easy as it sounds.

I personally would get 2 or 3 nice .com names that could be used just as informational sites. Then just write some articles for them, or find someone at DP to do it (~$5 for 500 words). Try to pick some sort of .com you will have fun with. Even if you dont know anything about the niche you choose, you can do very well just using the internet and reading about it, and then rewriting what you have learned into a new article. Title it well and submit it so some sites to get traffic and get into google, put some adsense on the sites, and keep them updated with fresh content atleast once a week (every day if the niche is broad enough)

I suggest just using the wordpress blog software to run your sites, its very good for informational sites and super quick to set up.

If your stuck for ideas just spend a few days finding something that you would enjoy writing (and reading) about! Some examples of the niches I have used are: quotes (famous quotes, from movies and books), budgeting tips, informational sites for video games (these work real good if you can get them up before the game is released), and many more :p

If you provide even halfway decent information you can make your money back quite easily with adsesne, and after a few months you could easily sell the whole website to another webmaster for a good chunk of money.

Some people can flip a site in just weeks, a domain for $10, and 15-20 articles for $5 each = ~$100, put the articles on the site, maybe one every day or evey other day, get all the articles listed in google, and sell the site to another webmaster for atleast twice what you paid for it and the content, if you work hard enough you could resale the site for quite a lot of money.

This is just what I would personally do, you sound like you are willing to put in the work :) The nice thing about informational sites is you dont need a big hosting account, especially if your going to sell the sites after a few weeks or months. many times you can use the free hosting account you get with your domain name at some places.

Hope this helped, make sure to explore many options! As long as you provide some product, service, or information that is needed, you will succeed :)

I think that a good way to make money is through adsense, how much is your decision.

If I were you I'de buy a domain that you are generally interested in and start writing! Try to get a decent site going and then spend the rest of the money on buying links, advertising etc etc.

It will take time to see a return but if you keep strong you will make money each day for doing nothing. You could then reinvest money made into making more sites and try to earn more.

    Just my opinion anyway :)

Create a website about something you have always wanted to learn, making a website about something you do not know but learn as you go along i believe is the best way.

In summer i plan to learn Chinese for my university course which i start in September so to help me learn Chinese i will be putting my web developing and SEO skills to the test by creating a Chinese language tutorial site, nothing spectacular but everything on the site will be written by myself to help others in Chinese language basics.

I learn very well from doing this, as i have found with previous developments, perhaps it would work for you.

    Good Luck.

1- don't start webhosting biz its a crowded field.
2- U should start a site or a blog with adsense and adwords u can spent ur $ in adwords which will drive traffic towards ur site and u will get more $ in form of adsense ( there is theroy behind if visitor come from click then he/she will also leave click)

3- U can start domain parking biz (its already tough)
4- u can start a SEO company with the help of some guys but as u don't have knowledge what SEO is so its not for u.

Very good post, I totally agree. Many websites I have made, not to make a website, but to help me learn. Its like taking notes and getting paid for it!

I think buying a domain and starting a small site and then selling it would prove invaluable to you.

You should get your money back but you will gain so much knowledge and experience its untrue. Alternatively look through sites for sale, find a site you thin is going for less than its worth - something you think you could improve by changing the skin or direction of the site and re-sell.

The best example i can think of is i bought a site on here for about $130 the most id ever invested at that point, i changed the skin, got the traffic up by about 100 uniques a month (nothing really) and sold for about $300 less than 3 months later. Other than that if you have a good idea, buy a site or domain and implament your ideas $50 on coding goes miles, $10 on a domain or $50 on a premade site with a little traffic , leaves you $100-150 to market the site and get the traffic going.

If it fails you have a custom site with some traffic which you should be able to get atleast half your money back. At the end of the day we all make mistakes and lose money but its how much you lose and if you learn from your mistakes.
