    I've only been an active poster for a few days.

    My advise is to read some posts, make some posts, and get comfortable with the site.

    READ THE RULES. They're not real strict, but they do enforce them. I saw a guy who had 24,000 + posts get banned the other day. Lucky for him they reinstated him after a few days. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I'm pretty sure it had something to do with his conduct.

    Watch out for scammers. I've already seen several posts from people who claim to have gotten scammed by other members here at DP. It's just a fact of life that you can't trust everyone you meet online. Please don't take these words of caution to harshly though. For the most part the members here seem to be friendly, helpful, intelligent people.

    There's A LOT here. I've learned quite a bit and I'm sure I'll learn a whole lot more. DP is one of the best resources I've found lately.

    I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.
