Question about wordpress

I am having a hard time to figure how to upload a mp3 file in my wordpress as a post.

I would really appreciate any type of help.

Hmm, that's for wordpress.com blogs, will that also work for self-hosted wordpress blogs?

 

Get the plugin PodPress, that will really simplify things, allow you to upload video, audio in many formats.

I dictate my posts into notepad ( I use Via Voive, but newer Windows has dictation software in there), read the dictation into a microphone and make an mp3 upload both the text and mp3. I end up with a Podcast, a 'transcription' of the poscast, and I never typed a word! You are adding an additional form of content to your blog. It is a slick deal for slow typists like me.

Ps I use 'podcast' right in my title, it draws google searches and traffic, eg " How to Plant Roses + podcast".People are certainly searching for podcasts now.

 

There are a few quality plugins you can get from the wordpress site that will help you get audiio and video downloaded and embedded on your wordpress blog.
