Does paypal allows payment through Indian debit cards?

Has any one used an Indian bank issued debit card with Paypal? Is it allowed or one can only use credit cards?

 

Indian debit card does not work with paypal,u can use credit card though.

 

Nope as mentioned, Indian DBs are not allowed for online payments.

And why are they not allowed.
It makes more sense to use a Debit Card than Credit Card.

my one of friend verified 1 years back using canara debit bank but for me its not worked it says card denied

 

Yes it will not work. I've tried with 3 Banks Debit card but it is not working as Indian Bank's are allowing Internet International transaction on their Debit cards. You need to use Credit card.

 

In India, you can withdraw money using debit/credit card. But you cannot verify an account with debit card.

 

Can you verify it by confirming your phone?
