burstable .... you can pay to upgrade to 4GB Ram for example . try 1GB Ram , around 300 - 500 GB bandwidth , disk space at least 1MB ( but they offer more ) , network speed 2Mbit is enough

Lori looks like one of those strict teachers you don't wanna mess with lol Lori aka the Proxy Hunter lmao
Newzone gave you the specs for the server yes but i really think you need to double check the hotlinking on your proxies. Enable hotlinking so the users won't access the proxified page from another link posted in forums by other users. Hotlinking will redirect those urls to the home page. If your still having crashes with your 512mb vps kindly ask your provide to reduce the max clients to the vps, it won't be able to handle the 256 connections per sec but 230 connections should be ok. BTW, what Control Panel are your using, if your using CPanel you might as well get a dedicated or remove cpanel and use another control panel. As anyone will tell you, cpanel consumes alot of memory therefore proxies + cpanel on a 512 vps is not a good idea. Hope that helps.
registered a domain which is http://unblockpr0xy.info So far it is being parked but I want to make it into a payable proxy. 1. How do I set it up? 2. Do I use normal hosting or special Proxy Hosting? 3. What is the best hosting site I should use for this purpose? 4. Can my income come through other methods besides adsense/adbrite? Yes I need like a dummy expanation lol, I know nothing about PHP or how to code your own proxy, so I guess im willing to pay for any creation for this proxy yeah, aslong as I am assured I get some future revenue doing this. I'm fairly new into proxies so If anyone has like an idiot's guide, please feel free to PM me with any details with what you can help me with. Thanks!
I'm afraid, osmanrules, you've fallen into the trap of thinking you can make some quick easy money with proxies. It may appear like that but to get a good looking, adsense optimised proxy with lots of UVs is not going to be for you if you don't expect to work very hard. The platinum proxy guide (search it) seems a good read but be prepared for LOTS of $0.00-$0.25 daysbefore you are successful. That said, good luck!
i think right now is not good time to make new proxies because schools are closed.but when they will open again - i don;t know.
Do yourself a favour, give up now, safe yourself a lot of time. read the other posts in this thread, all the n00bs with a single .info proxy site are making hardly anything and wondering why.
1.i can do it for you at small fee 2.you must use proxy hosting 3.XPS hosting 4.Yes you can use adversal/widget buck
Hey Ianmonkey fair go! Ok... so it's not easy, nothing worthwhile ever is. But how do you know how much work osmanrulz or anyone else is willing to put into this? He's just asking a few questions to help him get started. I'm one of these noobs that according to you should give up as well (sept I have .coms and .nets ) You'd would be best to find a free script. google "glype" of "phproxy" You need hosting that will allow proxies. But quality proxy hosting is recommended (by others in this thread) search this this thread
Hi, I'm looking into the prospect of hosting a proxy, can somebody give me a article or link me to a good proxy script? Thanks.
