I'm sure they're using unmetered bandwidth on 100mbps port.

They actually have several clusters of servers in a few different locations.

I wonder if Google uses that much bandwidth since all their pages are so small, no graphics, and optimized. But wikipedia definitely doesn't use anywhere close to 2TB a month. I would say around 10TB a day, but that's just a pure guess.

There are none, they just claim to have unmetered, but it's actually a 100mbps port shared amongst several users. They buy quality bandwidth so they can have good speeds all the time, not something shared and pay quite a hefty amount of $ for it.

to get much more than 1 or 2 TB you have to have server clusters or use a 3rd party bandwith company like Limelight Networks they have a capability of 1500 gigs/sec.

I think 15 tb a day for youtube is deffinatly feasible.

Wow, You guys are clueless. Youtube was using 200TB a day back in 2006. I'm not sure what they use now but it is supposed to be OVER doubl that. so maybe 500TB a day or so.

200TB in a day in 2006 on Youtube? You can stop smoking, since you're far off.

What am I smoking? Maybe you should know what you are talking about before you open your mouth an make yourself look stupid.

I spent 5 seconds and google and clicked on the first search result. here it is. Definitaly not the best link I could give you, but you could always spend 5 seconds on google yourself moron. This info is pretty out in the open.
