Hi Guys, I've just joined this forum and this was the first post I saw...but, this happened to me too. I placed an article talking about Adsense and gave a linked example of a top notch Adsense site (OK, that I'd built), but...that was banned. In the end, the only way they would accept the article was with the link totally removed from the body of the article. As one of the other posters on this thread, the link was in the resource box. So, I don't understand why either, especially when I was using the site of an example of how to do something. I guess it's just a case of too many people going the wrong side of the line and spoiling it for everyone else. Just my 2 cents worth. Cheers Derek
Well, another 1 rejected and accepted with identical resource boxes. Still waiting for a reply back from them with regards to why they're being rejected.
Well, finally got an email back from EA. The sales page I made, they don't like. I don't offer enough "content" on it for their liking. RETARDED. This is just narcissistic crap. They have users redirecting with their domains. They have people dumped on sales and squeeze pages that have absolutely no content on it, and I get the shaft.
Hey, does anyone know if you can give fake details when you sign-up to Ezinearticles? Eg, when they ask for your name, address etc. I know for the name, you can have a pen name, but when you're signing-up they ask for your real name, can that be fake? I mean, they're not sending you cheques or anything, so why'd they need your real name and address? Is there any way they can verify? Also do you have to have a website when you first sign-up? Sorry for so many questions. Thanks.
You guys seriously thought they would not try to quality control the site?? Your posts could be the exact same things people said when Google no longer allowed people to spam their organic listings. Most businesses are not going to operate in a way that makes you happy The markets saturated and with more and more people simply stealing content re-purposing it and submitting it to the article directories... there is bound to be a point then those sites slam the door shut to the piles of crap. Read: Dmoz, Google, Directories, Affiliate Networks etc.
if you write a lot of articles they would want to send you a cup as appreciation and if the address if fake you could get your account suspended. You don't need a website you can use a free blog or squidoo lens
Considering MOST people just send people back to a sales page, just as I did and A LOT just have domains forward directly to an affiliate, I think I'm at least part of the good guys when it comes to quality. It's not exactly whining when it is the most inconsistent and retardest move ever.
You can re-submit your articles again. Last week my articles wern't approved, I re-submitted them and other editor approved them. It depends on editor.
I know you strive for quality and the reply was not directed at you in particular. Yes I agree there are others committing larger sins so to speak but you cannot expect them to clean everything up at the exact same time... But like those who say "Google dropped my rankings and destroyed my business" Google did not destroy their business ,,,,,the person who thought they had built a solid foundation by using a free service to build a business destroyed it.... It's hard to complain about a free service someone offers....... I wish you all the best.....I think you have the drive and determination to find greater success, and after hitting the wall a few more times, you'll be well on your way....
I agree, but this isn't the case at all. They were basically upset my sales page didn't have a few more testimonials. I thought it was stupid, not because it's their choice, but because it's inconsistent. It's like an inconsistent law that says it's okay to beat your wife, but if you slap her behind you goto jail. It's stupid because it's inconsistent.
Again it's their business to do as they wish....they don't force you to submit and while it may seem inconsistent its theirs to be inconsistent with.... The whole point you seem to be missing is by relying on their service you accept their operations be it good and consistent or poor and non-consistent. It's like robbing a bank........ if you get away with it your rich for a while.... if not your broke ass and behind bars...... Now, what most entrepreneurs would do is, take an non-consistent business and make it consistent...... Nothing stopping you from making a better article site, and by now you have enough content to put up a start......and probably a few fans who would help you build it to be better than the others..
I've had the same thing happen to me - rejected for having a landing page with not enough content. There's no consistency with their reviewers. Some will accept them, some won't.
