Hello. I was wondering if any members here at Digital Point provide managed dedicated servers? If you do and you have only positive feedback, feel free to make me an offer.

I require | Fully Managed Server | Monthly Payments | 99.9% Up Time | cPanel

Must have all features, PHP, mySQL, etc. Unlimited domains, email, all those.

The details on the space, and speed etc. Just tell me what you have.

    Thanks,
    BlueEew.

What do you plan on hosting on it as with your budget being 50.00 to 75.00 a month you are going to get a very small server. Not sure if you will get one with management and cpanel for that price.

You will need to raise your budget for a Dedicated Server.

You can use our cPanel VPS to host your small forums, websites and blogs. All our vps are fully managed. You can view the VPS hosting plans, pricing and supported feature details at http://www.webhosting.uk.com/vps-hosting.php

Should you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

with that budget, you would be better with a managed VPS, not a managed dedicated server. If there are small forums, blogs only, VPS is a great choice. Do you want to process by that way?

I would like a dedicated server. I have seen a company that does them at $50/month.

I have been looking at GoDaddy. There small plan for dedicated server comes with simple control panel, and as the amount of resources I need. Are they managed? Are GoDaddy any good for dedicated servers?

Godaddy is like 1&1 with hosting. They are horrible with servers and when you try to move out, they fight with you and try to keep you hostage.

I suggest if you want, Versaweb, Hostrocket, iWeb, Liquid web, all good companies for servers.

How come all these hosts charge extra for cPanel?

I have only ever used cPanel shared hosting.

So if I was to buy a server with out cPanel, how would I upload websites and all that type of stuff?

All a dedicated server is, is simply just a server with an operating system. All hosts get charged extra for cPanel, they just include it in the price, so you're paying for it either way.

You don't have to have cPanel, in fact you could use ServerCP or another alternative which does the job. You can upload through FTP or SSH.
