No Improvement in earnings

I have my own article directory site with more than 100,000 articles posted started it one year before. After my hard work I get some natural traffic but for the past 6 months my earnings does not cross $200 per month. I am getting frustrated with no improvement in earnings.

Can any one Suggest me to help increase the traffic and earnings?

 

don't give up. $200 per month is not bad.

 

I believe many of us are in the same boat i.e. no improvement in earning. Most likely, the problem is because our traffic stay the same. the other cause problem due to the value of the keywords. So my suggestion is:

1- change the position of your ads >> may increase the CTR
2- use ads filter to test out whether it is better with other ads

Lastly is to continue building more traffic as most likely adsense is only as good when we have a good traffic (at least 5000 unique daily for video site)

 

What is the daily traffic to your site . Do you mind sharing the link of your directory as I can not tell you anything from the information that you have provided !

yup 200$ isnt bad compared to my 2$ a day and 60$ a month

 

Are they copy pasted articles or unique? Makes a big difference.

 

Yeah,same problem. But sometimes i have the luck to earn $3 a day,but that would be pure luck .

 

Its not copy pasted, all articles are posted by original authors. Duplicate articles will be deleted from admin.

 

I think you're doing well. Making $200 / month after 1 year it's not that bad. It means you know what you're doing.
All you need no is to move to the next level. What's your traffic like? Is there still a room for improvement?
Did you test rotating ads, different colors, etc. ?

 

$200 a month with one website is very good

 

Traffic is maximum 500 uniques per day minimum of 200 uniques. I am almost bored in link building after working for this site. Rotating ads are not looking good in my site so I removed after testing it.

 

i think you should make good CTR optimization and your keywords should be good for good payment. keywords definitely makes it out.

More traffic theres no easy way

With 500/dat making 200$ that's very good you can't expect more .... without larger traffic

 

How many pageviews are you getting per day? If it's high enough, you should consider switching over to CPM ads.

 

I have given up trying to improve my earning. My traffic and number of clicks have improved, but the earnings are worst than before.

Do you notice any change in CTR rates? And in traffic?
