    Or 4 for ultimate run:)

P.S. Nope, but I totally trust to majorgeeks for example. I understand it's not from microsoft directly, but exe file purely from MS with their signature. But as everyone knows 14th April SP3 was done in MS, build 5512. And yes, released to partners. And now even will be sold with integrated pack.

Vista is faster on faster (newer) computers
XP is slower than Vista on faster (newer) computers because the lack of drivers and support
Vista is slower than XP on old computers.

So if you have a new PC, go with Vista, else, go with XP.

What will happen to the most popular OS i.e. xp after the MS stopped supporting it in a few months from now? Forced to use vista?

You can use XP for another 100 years. If they stop supporting it doesn't mean that XP won't boot anymore :D

In fact, after I tweaked my Windows Vista by removing all the fluff, Defender and Aero, it works pretty fast, in fact I cannot tell it from Windows XP in terms of speed.

XP is faster. I am not going to leave this by upgrading. I wait 1 year to see others response on any new version and vista fail to give the best results.

Although XP surely will be replaced by other OS, the Vista is unsuccessful.

I prefer XP. I hope Microsoft decides to extent XP's expiration. This would be a good news!
