Adsense got it wrong!!!! (Poor addition)

    Adsense got it wrong!!!1

    See this picture below

    $5.20+$0.16=$5.36!

    but for adsense it's $5.35!

    Well they will consider $0.01 later on dont worry about that.

    You may also notice some time they added $0.01 more to your account.

    That's because your $5.20 is actually something like $5.196 and your $.16 something like $.156 but they are both rounded up to $5.20 and $.16.

    Combined they add up to $5.352 and are rounded down to $5.35.

    They can add quite well;)

    It happens occasionally. I've seen it on mine. I don't lose any sleep over it though.

    it's just rounding...for example if the 5.20 is 'really' 5.196 and the 0.16 is 'really' 0.156 the total is 5.352, rounds to 5.35

    Google is right. Just expand your numbers.

    $5.196 + $0.156 = $5.352
    ROUND($5.352)= $5.35

    GOOGLE IS CORRECT !!!

    Yes, and impression is counted in same way...

    When you get CPM ads, you will not see any income in your account as they are $0.00001 so when you come to $0.01 then only they will show that amount.

    And google is not wrong but surely right.
