Yes they do. If opposite did not attract none of us would be alive.

Another example is the poles of the magnet. Plus attract minus.

 

they do in fact attract, my wife & are are perfect examples.

now there would be exceptions to this of course but by & large I think the saying holds true.

Yes opposites do attract. I have a co worker I can't stand because our personalities are so different from each other, but we ended up dating.

don't get me wrong, having things in common is always good (especially on the front side of the relationship)...I mean it's good to like some things, otherwise you wouldn't want to spend any time with them!

I'd say that opposites attract only as far as sex. Men and women are attracted to each other.

Beyond that, it just doesn't make any sense. Who wants to be with someone who is exactly opposite. Everything you like they hate. Doesn't sound like they would have any fun together, and it would certainly lead to arguments.

It's a catchy statement. That's it.
