14 hours at the computer? Fulltimers...give advice

I am betting some of you who have been successful enough to go full time in this business, easily spend every waking minute on the computer. So:
    1. Lots of doctor visits for carpal tunnel syndrome?
    2. Blurry vision?
    3. weight gain?
    4. Lost real friends...gained virtual friends?

With the news about the famous bloggers dying of heart attacks how do you balance online money making with forcing yourself away from the computer?

step away from computer for 5 minute every hours. look at sometime far away (better something green, like some tree) exercise daily and don't don't snake while you work, you will be fine

I do a fine balance between my online job and offline job and will never allow the former to overtake the latter. Thereby, I keep myself fit :)

14h straigth? That's crazy. Every couple of hours you should make a break, take a walk if possible, get some air.

14 hours! I'm suprised you could move after that period of time. Take regular breaks and do exercise. Just because you love the internet and make money from it, doesn't mean your vision, health, general well being has to suffer.

well if you specify the same schedule as offline work, there shouldnt be any problem
say follow the same break time and such, since online, offline both involve the same for most where you sit down and do work.

as for friends case, yes you may lose firends but then again, this worl there are IMs to keep in touch and you could still hang out as usual on weekends (as if work holiday)

because think about it, the only reason you are working online full time is because you are getting paid the same or more so following same schedules as if at offline work isnt too hard

Take my advice. Never allow yourself to sit at a stretch for more than 2 hours. Have some chat with your pals. And then get back to your works again. We need to maintain our health, don't we? After all, money isn't everything :)
