If you can't get Google there's always Yahoo! and MSN, combined i think they almost get as much searches as Google. Although a top rnak in Google usually means one in Yahoo and MSN. Most just optimize for Google.
I read an article a week ago that suggested maybe specifically targetting Yahoo or MSN algorithms.
I'm wondering isit really worth it?
    Opinions/ suggestions please

Traffic from Yahoo is about 10%
    While MSN only below 5%

they have potential that can be harvested,

If I live in an alternate reality, i would love to see those three search engines are equally strong and bring similar amount of traffic, also if possible have similar algorithm.

Too much reliance to Google is unhealthy, monopoly is tend to be bad

I would like to challenge these figures, you must be unaware of just how many people use Yahoo as their primary search engine

I rank pretty much the same for Google, Yahoo, Live, etc.
More than 95% of the traffic is from Google.

Thus prving that a top rank in google usually means a top rank in yahoo msn etc.

Not sure if you are speaking about just traffic, but if its feeds you are looking
for and have good quality traffic i have very good source for that.

sorry, but MSN and yahoo combined still make up less than one fifth of the search market. basically if you cant crack google, its hardly worth bothering!
