Should EPN users Switch Back to CJ?

I'm thinking about changing my TrackingID back to my CJ number to get some sales while ebay is still on CJ. Can I just change the one number back and be alright, or is there something else that need to be changed? I am using the editor kit.

I'm just debating these because I have 80+ pages with with 300 hits a day and i made 50 cents from EPN in the last 5 days, yet I have had one ad that is still on CJ that I didn't change on accident that is still making more than anything.

    Any thoughts?

well dunno what to tell you I guess you'll have to make a judgement call on that on what costs you more. Because after May any 30day cookies aren't being honoured if its a CJ cookie.

My opinion.. no. I personally think it might be better to fully commit to ePN, and get the cookies to all transition over to ePN. If you change now, you'll have to go through this whole 7/30 day lag all over again. You're going to have to move them all eventually anyway, and you'll also be running the risk of foobar'ing links/variables during the link swaps. The situation sucks.. but we don't have many options.

Seeing a 77% drop in my commission, I'd say "yes" if what your earning is significant. Luckily, I didn't transfer my main earners and planning on keeping then with CJ until the 20th of May. As for the others that are already on EPN, I'm just keeping them there to see what May brings.

The only problem with keeping your links on CJ now is that you will not get commissions after the 31st May even if someone buys an item or signs up.

Yes, but that's because of the 7 day cookie. If you switch on the 20th, you don't need to worry about it because you shouldn't see any activity after the 27th. :)

The 7 day cookie is only for tracking of sales. For ACRU, a person who visits ebay through your link has 30 days to signup and register. You will be virtually giving up any signups that happen after May ends if you continue to promote through CJ in May as stated by eBay in their announcement.

Technically a person could come back 30 days later and finally find an auction he likes to even bother to register then on the 30th day. It happens. Thats why lot of people experience sales far into the month in CJ even though they had switched over to ePN completely.

Hmmm, based on the 30 day ACRU cookie information... I'm at a crossroads. I made almost $500 in ACRU's in April, I don't know if I can risk not making that kind of money. At the same token, what if my total drops by 77% if I make the move? What to do???

Well yesterday was a good day for me with EPN. However it seems that much more of my money is coming from links pointing to a exact page, and not from my editor kits that are targeted. I would say 3/4 of my money is coming from the links, while the clicks only represent a total of 1/3. Anyone seeing anything like this?

I have been busy converting everything from CJ to EPN. And the EPN earnings for April were just fine. I cannot see why a link with the old CJ tracking ID would do any better than the updated EPN tracking ID... Get everything converted to EPN ASAP is my opinion.

From what I have seen, this is an eBay bug. They are not tracking ACRU properly. There are only dropping two cookies that could be used for tracking ns1 and lucky9 and they expire in one year and five years. This means they are tracking ACRU on one of these by going to the database and pulling history. That piece of code has a defect I'm almost certain. My testing has shown that ACRU will track when its all done in one session, but does not register when it's done in two different sessions. This points to either the initial save or the retrieve on the second session. My guess is that this is pretty high on their to-do list and it is probably a good measure of their reason for extending another month.

I analyzed the cookies here and they are dropping the same cookies on both CJ and EPN.

I'm pretty confident they will fix this soon.
