Have proxy, what's next?

    Where should I advertise it? Where should I put it? Thank you a lot :)

    In digital point there are many peoples who wants You to submit Your proxies to their list/nwesletter so start there , then Yahoo groups and other forums.

    After You have some revenue You can think about putting (aside adsense) some CPM network, with inpage banners or popups (the list of those CPM programs can be found here), and that's it :).

    Keep Your proxy always online, and avaible for users :)

    You do not have to pay at proxy.org as long as you include a backlink on your site to proxy.org. Its worth it for proxy.org, but I wouldnt put backlinks on my site for any other lists/newsletters.



    Not to kill anyones business, but largely buying advertising for proxies is worthless. Typically you spend more money then you make when you buy advertising for proxies. There are those rare gems out there, but I make over $1000 per month with proxies and I have never bought any advertising. There is plenty of free advertising that you can do.


    You can pick up more methods in my ebook (in my signature), but basically just use your head. Think like a teenager in school, where would you go. Start with Yahoo answers, Yahoo groups, google groups, answers.com, Digg.com, myspace forums etc... Any lists here on DP that you can do for free are often worth it. Put analytics on the page and track where you get your traffic from. google analytics is free.

    MOST IMPORTANTLY: Generally where a lot of people fail at proxies is not monetizing correctly. Make sure you take advantage of every opportunity you can to monetize your site. Test it out. I made 1 change - adding canep CPM banners 468X60 to the proxified pages - and I made an extra $150 to $300 per month. Monetize well and they work your rear end off advertising and you will succeed.
