Hello, Im looking for some really good shopping cart software. I have a budget of around $50 a month for it. I need something safe and secure. Also things like promotions/coupons and little thinks like that. Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks,
This one has a good reputation for members of paypalsucks.com highly recommends this.. http://www.merchantinc.com/
I would advise Actinic, as it is a strong, heavily supported e-commerce solution and is 'out of the box' software, ie. if your server fails you don't lose everything, comes with backup hosting so your site will never go down If you an Actinic solution, I am currently selling our current version as we no longer require this edition, 100% legit, with original license key, manual, etc. Thanks
I forget the name but I used to use a really good free site, there are lots of them in google that are integrated with Paypal.
Maybe this helps you in making a decision: - osCommerce - Magento But of course there are other e-commerce software...you can lok here www.hotscripts.com (in any category you want)...
After using osCommerce, Cube cart, Zen Cart, a professionally developed cart, I did an exhaustive search, and decided on Pinnacle Cart. I will never use another. Jinm
Why? I wouldn't bother here since most DP'ers are looking for free or something for nothing. My recommendation is Pinnacle Cart. It is a great cart. You can read their website and the "reviews for Pinnacle Cart" on Google and the major software script sites. This company delivers all they say they will. Great script....if you are willing to pay $597 for something that leaves osCommerce, Cube Cart, Zen cart and so many other paid carts in the dust! Opps...that excludes 98% od DP'ers. Jim
Not here but on www.mytestbox.com ...and detailed review it's not the same as "I recommend you this cart..." and that's it. People want to know details, why it's better, what are the pluses and minuses comparing with other carts, etc,etc... You've tested them...many people didn't...so for them a detailed review would be a nice piece of info ...almost all reviews I read are 2-3-4 paragraphs...but they are not getting in the dept... It was just a suggestion (and you could have made some moeny too)...if you don't want to that's fine, no problem ...
Ah, sometimes I miss the most obvious things. MyTestBox.com is your site. Well, I'm about to sign off...I think...for tonight. I have to get up at 3am for a street festival show my company is presenting at and won't be home until 8pm. tomorrow night. So, if i do review Pinnacle on your site, it probably won't be for a day or two. Jim
osCommerce is a pretty easy e-commerce script to skin and make templates out of, but the code that comes packaged with it is awful. There are tables and poorly nested elements everywhere, and it's not so great for SEO. Also, the admin panel doesn't require a password, so without making your own type of protection anybody can get right into your administrator panel by simply going to yoursite.com/admin . Real security issue.
