Doubt on Google rankings?

    Hi guys,
I have a blog related to advertising on mobile phones.

I rank in the first page for the terms "cellphone advertising", "cell phone advertising", "mobile phone advertising", etc. However, for the main keyword in my niche - "mobile advertising", I rank only in the 33rd page.

Could this be just a coincidence? Or is there something more to it? Is it normal to rank well for one term and rank abysmally low for another term - especially when the terms are related? Could someone explain?

I'd have to see the site in order to tell you, but my first guess would be that you're either not targeting it, or not targeting it enough.

The 2 terms you rank well for have less sites competeing for it. The main keyword will be hard to rank well for so keep working on site and getting links for it.

My site is cellphone-advertising.com. Could you check it out and give me your thoughts on that?

    Thanks.

    Thanks again.

That's not a coincidence... It depends on how you target your keywords.
