who uses them and how affective are they? i just started one up http://www.squidoo.com/proxytemplates - rate it if u like. let me know what you think, still loads of info to go in. let me see yours and if you got any hints or tips add them in too.
Remember it is not the number of info you put on it but the quality. Seth Godin has an article on how you can target one keyword, make a lens focused on that niche or keyword and conquer the top SERPs in Google. If you go to his blog you will have the chance to read about the technique more as well as learn some remarkable marketing tips and tricks.
I love squidoo, a lens can often rank quite well on google if it is keyword specific. Although I do know there was a squidoo slap not too long ago, I don't know if it has changed since. There are loads of squidoo resources around. I only have 3 lenses at the moment but plan on making a few more in the next couple of days. Here is one of mine: advice4skincare really nice lens by the way. I hope you don't mind me saying but you could add a little more content it may rank better. Another good way to make it rank better in the search engines is to make good use of you tags, I think you can add up to 40, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
try adding more content you squidoo lens and make look attractive instead of proxy templates add proxy content and new proxy list too this will get you lens rank high and students will always bump you lens to check new proxy websites
Here are some of mine: - Web Software Reviews - Content management software - E-commerce software - Wiki software And so on...
I really don't know how effective lenses are. I guess if you make a load of lenses then you'll probably see some traffic but I haven't really seen any from my 2.
I checked em out. Nice! 5* and fan club. Squidoo is great for many reasons. Traffic Backlinks Revenue sharing (they pay pretty well once you get a bunch of high ranked lenses) It's fun
I didn't get traffic yet from my squids...but i just launched them...but I guess the backlinks will count for Google...that was actually the intent for building them... Thanks, usasportstraining, for visiting them ...send your friends too ...
You should take a look at the Squidoo Tools and Resources for info on helpful ways to get your lenses found. Also, it's worth it to join their Squidu forum and have your lenses critiqued, etc. You can also join seo.com forum and list them there.
