this is the best godaddy coupen i found so far

if you are going to register domains on Godaddy try coupon "zine3", it will make the .com registration $7.15 (normally $9.99)
this works for renewals as well

have anyone found a better coupen to register .com in godaddy

Guys there is a Godaddy 2008 coupon thread. Just post your new codes in there. Easier for people to find stuff.

Glad to see these coupons. But Name.com offers .com domains at $5.99 without any coupon.

If the domain is at least 60 days old then you can transfer it from/to Name.com to/from other registrar. You just need to follow the standard procedure for transferring the domains.

    1. Request the transfer at Getting registrar
    2. Provide the EPP or authorization code to them
    3. Approve the emails regarding to authorizing the transfer
    4. Once 1,2 and 3 are done, the domain will get transferred within 6-7 business days.

i have seen few places offering .com for less than $7.15 but i prefer godaddy as in a quick sale people like if the domain is with godaddy (i think they are too lazy to create accounts with other companies)

    Good point.

I actually might start using them for hand-reg names. Then a few months before the expire date I think I'll transfer them to GoDaddy and use the 7.15 coupon.

I did this with NetFirms a while back. Reg'd a load of LLLL.coms for 4.95/name. Kept them with NetFirms untill a few months before expiration then transfered them all to GD for like 7.17/name. It was a bit of a hassle but saved me like $100 or so.

NetFirms current price is 5.95, just low enough that they can say they are one of the cheapest around, however I think they may now have a limit on how many you can reg at that price, I'm not sure.
