Cheap dedi server for backup

    Hi, I need a cheap dedicated linux server for backup. Not much bothered about RAM and processor. No Websites or Database will be hosted. Only backed up files would be kept.

    * 300 GB + HDD
    * 1500 GB + BW
    * 512 MB RAM
    * Celeron processor

    Please give me the best rates possible. Also mention the name of the datacenter.

    why need to rent a server meanwhile you can rent a backup service, then you have to spend your time in managing it? Contact Scott at bqbackup.com for your backup requirements

    for information security I'd like to be the only one who can access those files. With a dedicated server and root access, I believe that, unless hacked, I can be the only one to access the files. Thank you.

    I would recommend if you are going to backup your files of your hosting somewhere, why not buy a server which is near to your server location or on same DC...it would definitely help in fast transferring and rsync, NFS options.
