This Method Seems Relitavely Easy

It seems like all you have to do is go to Clickbank and get a link for a product that earns you say $15 a sale. Next start an adwords campaign say for 20-50 cents a click. Even if your conversion rate is not high you will still be making money.

    Am I missing something?

sometime your 0.50 cent will take you 120 clicks to have 1 conversion.

Pay 60$ to retrieve 15= you DONT make money.

Not that easy... people don't usually buy in the first look and you need to figure out the long tail keywords that are used by people in the late buying cycle.

Although, with practice, it will get easier... even hands-off where the money rolls in without needing you to do anything.

Usually it comprises of 3 or more words per keyword phrase.

Late buying cycle keyword phrase have the word "buy", "purchase", "order", "review", etc, etc, etc in them.

Before you start, everything seems easy ;) PPC is really complicated, it's very difficult to profit from PPC advertising.

I find it better if you start with CPM in content network.

Don't choose the whole site to advertise.

Rather, go for "placement targeting" and choose the specific page that have adsense.

These pages must be in the first 3 to 5 page listing within any search engine keywords related to that product.

It depends whether people reading that site are mostly in the buying mood.

If you search for "buy conair curling iron cheap", this shows you are ready to buy something.

So advertising on the sites that are being generated from that keyword phrase might be worth the test.

One good technique to use with Adwords is to bid only on keywords, which are VERY likely to bring you a sale, that means keywords, such as buy something, purchase something, something review, etc.

This increases chances of converting visitors into sales.

That's the impression that I have been receiving also. Long tail keywords that will lead to a sale is where one's money should be.

Relatively easy is a relative term. PPC can bite you so be careful and monitor your campaigns closely!

And also be careful with your budget, because you can waste all your money really quickly. ( like I did some time ago)

Don't set the budget too high, just because you want to get more clicks. Instead optimize your campaign, to get higher CTR and lower CPC. Then try increasing a budget A BIT, not too much.
