Funny viral video of a date gone wrong (emphasizing why your matching site is best)...include a link to your site at the end of the video. Use the $200 to pay the participants to make it really good.
Press Release. Build a buzz by emailing people. Word of mouth, buzz should pick up eventually. Is your site just like the rest? Does it solve a problem for the community? What is your target market?
Hold a contest giving away $200 cash! Promote on Youtube, google, your site, your friends and family, forums such as this, etc!
Fake a testimonial/case study: "How Craig and Monique hooked up on mylol.net" Couple it with press release, get a developer to create a facebook app (make sure it's something NEW, so not some corny love test or whatever), get on social bookmarking sites that are popular among teenagers (do some research - each of these sites can have a large audience from a particular niche) Good luck
I'd also vote for this. Then perhaps use some free PR services to get some more coverage for the viral news.
Nice site. I would suggest some facebook advertising to drive some traffic. Dating does very well on facebook so you should get some good buzz from it. Cheers, Stas
