I have proxy with nice design and domain and going to buy hosting. Just write your offer here and maybe I will choose you.

i think 100 GB is enough to start with a proxy , you can upgrade later in general , if you have huge traffic will use very easy that amount.
Depends on how good you promote your proxy

If you think to promote it well will need at least 100 GB

it is from what i heard , i never used, you must read their TOS or ask about the CPU policy , this is the major problem with proxies CPU usage not bandwidth .

kmkhost and techentrance don't have strict CPU policy

 

I have many, also i have too much pain with hosting, i am thinking to start my own server home!
you need for each domain about 2GB per day, it depends on your traffic and where you promote!
keep in mind you will need at least 50GB monthly if you have just one site.

 

What hosting do you use?
And maybe you know smth about hagio-host?
I think I would use their hosting.

 

i was thinking too at this idea few time ago , home server, but the internet connection must be good , at least 5Mbits port maybe , possible to be risky if someone using the proxy will do something bad

Sometime ago, I did a list of Web hosts allowing proxies. Most of them advertised on this forum, having some Itraders, so I'm pretty sure that they are trustworhty.

 

I have around 30 Proxies with them on a Semi Dedicated Box costs 65$ per month. I used to use their shared Proxy HIII package, but after i need to upgrade my proxy allocation, i had to go with the semi box plan. In recent times they have changed their all servers to Dual Proc Quad Core servers with 12 MB Caches. They are really nice and i have no problem at all in last 6 months. As far i know, Hagio-Host is online for last 1 and half years and doing really good in the market. As far i know, they do not have any cpu usage policy. Moreover, if you use too much cpu, they will assist you to optimize your proxy script to use less cpu and memory

proxy hosting suck alot of CPU. well, just to inform u
