Ok I posted the other day and found I was Google slapped.

Went and built killer landing pages proper SEO implementation lots of content relevant to keywords. h1 h2 h3 tags bolding out bound links to .gov .edu wiki etc

Built a page for each worked... 6 hours to build 10 pages

Went into Adwords added each page to its keyword I am bidding on

CPC dropped from $10.00 to $0.15......That rocked

20 minutes later all of the terms went to $5.00 and $10.00 again...

I am ready to scream.....I did what they wanted

Are they that set against someone making money with their system???

Sorry to hear about Google Slap. Shouldn't this post be in Google -> Adwords forum?? You may be able to get some good suggestions.

That sounds really frustrating - perhaps a human reviewer took a look and decided they simply don't want it on the adwords system. If you post the URL I might be able to give some pointers as to why it got slapped.

    What's your overall account CTR?

Even if you have great CTRs on some keywords, the poor performing keyword can effect your minimum bid on the entire account (even the keywords with a great CTR & quality score).

This sort of thing really pisses me off. I can understand slapping campaigns with landing pages that have no content or absolutely nothing to do with the ad. That's like sending a jpg banner when the company clearly says they only accept gifs. But when the advertiser is honestly trying to meet Google's ridiculous guidelines and has content, title, and header tags that match the ad, as well as related keywords, and still encounters these barriers, it just turns people off of Google.

In any other medium advertisers are respected because they are the ones paying money. An advertiser shouldn't have to run around fixing an already unique website and campaign just to advertise with Google. And they shouldn't have to wait weeks hoping their campaign will magically turn back on. It's very frustrating I know and it shouldn't be like that!
