My URL is banned from AKismet Blog comments

Everytime I add my URL, it doesn't display the comment.

Can anyone tell me how to get unbanned fromt his?

 

what is your URL? may be it contains a word which is flaged as spam by AKismet plugin

Why would they just ban a URL?

 

You need to make posts on blogs that will de-spam your comments with the url. Real comments that are related to the article posted and not promoting your site in anyway. Best time to do this is when the admin has just cleaned out their askimet.

 

Does your url contain at least two dashes and your reply contain junk? Because that's about 99% of what my akismet filter catches.

 

This happens to ALL blogs though, not just ONE blog. Every blog with Akismet catches my blog post with THIS URL.

But if i don't have my URL, the post goes thorugh . weird.

 

If you haven't built the domain up too much, you could buy a new one.

 

You need some mates with askimet to fish your comments with that URL out of their spam folder, and de-spam it. Askimet will eventually learn and treat it like normal again assuming that you don't do anything spammy later.

 

You don't need to do that. Write to Akismet at Akismet.com to ask whether your domain has been blocked. If it is, tell them you will not spam in the future and they will free you. Of course, if you are really guilty of spamming, they will not let you go.

any updates? Are you still on the blacklist? I am facing the same issue. I'm going to post comments on fellow's blogs and ask them to de-spam / approve it, thanks for the idea.

 

Better contact them for the reason of banning then decide for the next step.
