5 DAY LOGO CONTEST!! $35+$10 bonus

Hey there, it's me The Big Banana again with another fun logo contest!

Here's the scoop.

One of my students, affinityrestor, needs a logo for his new flood and fire restoration service. He has a logo for his homebuilding business and would like to use it as a foundation for his flood and fire restoration service. Here are the parameters:

1) The foundation of his logo is found here: www.bananaprofits.com/jared/affinitylogo.jpg

2) The official company name is: Affinity Fire and Flood Services

3) The font needs to be in a sans serif that can clearly be seen from a distance

4) The colors are black, blue (water), and red (fire)

5) Like most of my contests, this one also needs to be simple and memorable.

6) The logo needs to be detachable from the name

*Please try fire/flames in the windows and water (drops or waves) included in the logo somewhere

*No 3D images or artsy-type logos, please

*The contest ends 5 days from today, 5/4/08 @ 5PM EDT.

*If a winner is determined before that time, a $10 bonus will be given.

OK I am back in town. Watari your #2 is nice. Distinct. The fire is very visible the color scheme and font for affinity is not right on the mark though.

I spoke w/affinityrestor and he hasn't found a winner yet. Therefore, we're going to have to take this contest into overtime and will extend it until Wednesday, 5/7/08 @ 5PM EDT.

Alright gang, let's get this thing done! Just talked w/Jared (affinityrestor) about the submissions thus far.

His comments: "right direction" just need some tuning.

@ l3fty - nice job, very colorful; however it seems a little too clip-artish. Can you give the flame, smoke and water a little bit more detail?

@ watari - again, nice job - very colorful and has a Web 2.0 feel to it. It's a little too detailed for insertion on the side of a van, however.

@ all - sorry this has gone on longer than expected. Between my internet problems and not being able to log on and affinityrestor getting called out of town unexpectedly, we haven't done a good enough job of providing feedback. We'll both be on here frequently for feedback until the winner is announced so please jump in!
