Those are really good conversion rates. Froogle didn't quite give me the results I wanted for my own products, so I stopped using it. After reading your post though, I'll give it another try
Congratulations!!!!! to every body out there. I was wondering what frogger is i am new to this and what to know if you can help me promote my site. if you can please PM me and i'll give you my site and i 'll promote you site on mine. like link exchange
I regret, but in my opinion, link exchange doesn't work a lot any more. You have to concentrate on gaining one-way links (without reciprocal) As to Froogle, everything I know I learnt from http://base.google.com/support/?hl=en&gl=gb and from carrying out my own experiments. Basically, Froogle is a service where you can add your product information (if you sell products... if you are only an affiliate, don't go there...) as an XML or comma separated list. If you follow the guidelines and spend some time to make your list descriptive, Froogle will list your products to people who are searching for relevant keywords.
I wonder what industry are you into and what keywords you used because that is a very high conversion rate.
Congratulations high conversion rate, but I think you can do this only with a niche product. I have a onlineshop with over 5000 products an we use Froogle feed to. But there is a smaller conversion rate, specialy when your other competitors have the same products. The only thing we found out is, submit your dates every day so you will listed better in the announcment.
I just submitted my product. It shows up in My Item but when I clicked on it it says that the item could not be found. Does it need approval first before it is published? Dinar.
Yes. froogle can really drive traffic. If you have more products, you can upload it in bulk uploading.
Sometimes it takes up to 48 hours for a product to become active in Google product search. After that time, if there are no errors displayed near your product and it is still inactive, go to the Google base help section and look for contact us. These guys are quite helpful.
Oh thanks for sharing. I had heard of Froogle but not as such a good traffic source. I will most certainly be viewing the info as posted above. thanks, Kazba
Congratulations, that's a pretty good conversion rate. I'd guess that means that Froogle searchers are some pretty motivated buyers.
Yes they are indeed! Basically, if a visitor comes through natural Google search, he is pretty cold (usually he is just curious). Froogle visitors are already pre-warmed and then it is up to you to warm 'em up and make 'em pull the credit card out of the wallet.
