I did spend a lot of time searching, and nothing that worked.

Have you ever searched for one?

    Thanks

I agree with decepti0n. Download Open Office, its free. Then copy everything from the book and paste in open office. then just press "Create pdf" and thats it
Some ebooks may be protected so you can not copy anything from it. Then you wont be able to edit anyways...
    hope this helped

I have been using the free version of Primopdf for almost two years now and have been very pleased with it. It is simple to install and simple to create pdfs.

I need to EDIT pdf files. Sory for being misunderstood.

Indeed there are a lot of programs out there that can create pdf files, but may be none to edit pdf files.

If you need editing capabilities, PrimoPDF has a Professional version (Nitro PDF Professional) that costs $99 and has a free 14 day trial download with full functions. That is a lot cheaper than some other companies.
