Hi, I have been using the free SEO tools to analyze the top 10 sites for my niche's keywords. I'd like to do it more efficiently and have been looking into SEO Spyglass and SEO Elite. Most of what I'm finding are affiliate links that provide biased reviews. I've also looked through the forum at some of the relevant posts. What I'd like to do is be able to discover the competitor's backlinks that provided the most impact on their top 10 position. Spyglass seems to assign a value to each backlink. Both tools organize a report of backlinks categorized by PR, IP, etc. I can do the backlink development myself and wouldn't use either tool to automate it because it comes off as too spammish. I've seen the references to Webceo but don't want to shell out $249 just yet. Can I get an honest review from anyone that's purchased and successfully applied either or both of these tools? SEO Elite is helpful for providing you with a detailed backlink profile without all the hard work. It isn't going to give you a value for each link -- that's were the skill comes in, which is something no tool is going to give you
Except the mentioned things, SEO Elite is awfully inaccurate. I tried to use it, but it showed some wired results.

SEO Elite is kind of sensitive point for me - after I have purchased it I had an issue with makeing it work. It was something as a month of correspondence with the support, and after all they said they do not know how to help me... Well, finally this thing started to work and I tried it to check backlinks in yahoo. And after starting the project I was banned from using yahoo for a day... Also I compared the results of ranking check to the results Google show and noticed that they are waaay too different... There are some other things like inability to stop a running project or the need to run only one project a time. For me SEO Elite is just a good way to get money from us - it's rather cheap not to complaine after purchase and pretends to be useful.
