Am I the only one who's not that fond of the new social-networking-style profiles? :/

I am not really a fan of them either. I am thinking of customizing my profiles. However I don't hate them. I just have not really tried them yet.

I didn't the profiles in 3.7, so I never upgraded my version 3.6.8 when I owned my license.

Anyways, I am glad 3.7 is done. I have been waiting since November to see this thing go Gold.

I just upgraded from RC4 to the final release with no problems at all. Also, i've had a lot of the new features disabled when i first installed the beta version. My own choice to disable them. lol

Also, i think the vbulletin.org 3.7 forum will start to come out with more mod's. I'm sure some coders didn't create mods for 3.7 since it was in beta or had mods on the back burner. It's a easy install to go to 3.7 everyone. Don't sweat it, or pay for it to be done professionally if you don't want to do anything.

The styles and MODs will be edited to work with 3.7.0. It's just a matter of time. Give it a couple of weeks and everything will be made for 3.7.0. :D

See they do move quick. Even though most people haven't even upgraded yet as well. I wonder when DP will upgrade?

DP still on 3.6.8 and i'm sure They will have to test the 3.7 version out (test forum) with any mod's DP use's and make sure the server or server's are ok with the new version.

I don't even know if DP will make the leap and upgrade. This will mean DP will be closed for a few hours. :(

I will probably upgrade mine soon. I have been waiting to complete my forums skin. There would be no point in doing ot for 3.6.8 then changing it all for 3.7.0.

I actually like the mods made to 3.7.

User profiles are great! Very web 2.0 (social networking), and it expands the capabilities of VB. Not a bad idea.

The new 'ad templates' have been needed for a long, long time. It's good to see that they're working to make forums more profitable, with less 'hacking' necessary.

Thread tags, good idea, as well as prefixes. I like them both.

There's other things they've added I'm sure, but I have yet to find anything in 3.7 that's a major annoyance, or that I DIDN'T like.

As far as the price increase:
This hasn't gone into effect YET, won't until June, as they stated in their announcement.

As well, they've had the same price for years. This is stunning, so a small ($15) price increase is well overdue. You don't work for that long without getting a raise, especially with the economy going crazy like it is. It's high time they gave themselves one.

For about 8 year's i believe the price never changed. That's very good in there part. 8 years ago gas was way cheap, times change and price's change. Vbulletin versions are getting better and better. I don't use to many mod's at all on mine. I've been running 3.7 for awhile now. (I've used all beta versions of it)

On the vbulletin.com forum, a lot of people are voicing there opinions about the price increase but if you can't afford a small investment into your forum then go use a free forum software.

With the new features in this version, coders and designers can do a lot more with there work. That's good for use forum owners. :)
