The New York Times? http://www.nytimes.com/2006/01/16/technology/16ecom.html Shawn Hogan, the founder of Digital Point Solutions, said his company received about $10,000 a month from Google for ads placed on its online forum. It shares the revenue with users. Granted, it was 2006, which is why I've doubled it to $20,000 a month. Hell, even if it's now making $30,000 a month, that's $360,000/year. If it was purchased for $2m, that's 5 years worth of revenue - therefore I feel you're overestimating.
thats really old, anyway,im not the only who estimates up to 1M to Digital point.. only you in this thread thinks that DP worths less than 1M..forget the revenue and think in the domain, users, content and google position. c'mon lol
Well its got to be worth exactly $2,567,231.54 I Hope your as serious as I was when I said 380 billion....
I don't think a price tag can be put on it to be honest... + I don't think shawn wants to sell it, its the best resource on the net.
Hey hey, I got permission to sell this forum! Selling it only for $19,995 -1day sale only! Please send me money through WU and I will push to you domain and all files! Anyone who Interested- Drop me a pm
junk websites can be sold at 6 months profit, you wont buy a junk website for 24 month profit, nowhere, maybe 1 out of 100 cases.
I don't know why, but if I write a large amount of money, my hands are shaking... LOL Is it a DP PEON SYNDROME??? LOL
You are forgetting a lot of things. Revenue is irrelevant because DP is not fully monetized. MySpace was losing money when it sold for 580 million. 2. Forums - there have been some. Webmaster traffic is some of the most valuable on the internet, to sell for less than 2 or 3 million would be ridiculous. 3. There are more, but think about those first.
if you see from purely financial point of view, then value of DP would be around a Million But otherwise if you incluse goodwill and other factors, then its hard to determine an exact value
