    Your exactly right Perry.

Persistence pays, and quitting after the first couple of months makes you absolutely zilch. This is not get-rich-quick.

Just because you can't do it doesn't mean it can't be done. It's clear from your posts that you've already thrown in the towel on ranking in Google - how this is possible I'm not sure, because its pretty easy when you start with off with long-tail keywords.

SEO isn't overrated, it's actually quite simple if you just apply the basic principles. Avoid snake-oil salesmen and stick with what works: targeted content + targeted links = ranks = traffic.

Yes, it's impossible for any of the posters here to actually have sites that rank in Google.

Of course it works every time smart guy - people don't share their niches with the competiton.

Try not being so cynical - you're only cutting your own legs off.

Where did I say that I even want to do it???

It's clear from your posts that you have skim read mine. Had you actually read them, you would have seen that I don't care about this overrated seo.

Sorry, but it is overrated. I'm not saying that it is totally useless, but one has to be lucky to land high, since there are thousands, and up to tens of thousands doing the same thing, which many of them know how to do seo. Not all can fit on those first crucial pages people do a search on.

Where did I say that they weren't?

    So...what's your url?

Oh, wait, that's right, I forgot, you don't want to share your "niche." Gotchya. ;)

Try not to BS a person and others reading this thread who have been around for quite awhile - it only makes you look more foolish.
    :)

    Yeah.

Perry i dont see why you find it so hard to believe that i can be making money off of Adsense without paying for advertising, or just making money period. I thought that was common practice to not publicly list your Adsense earning sites on forums like this?? I dont want to risk getting my Adsense account banned and i dont want to share my niche and methods with you.

Perry lets see you list your big earning sites here. It seems like you're on DP to argue more than you're on here to learn and share.

...there, you got a reaction out of me.

If you haven't even tried because you don't want to, what makes you think your assumptions about it are true?

Whether you think you can, or you think you can't - you're right. In summary basically what you're saying is, don't try it because it's too hard. I really hope you don't live your life by this kind of principle.

There's millions of different keywords. How many webmasters out there are dedicated to bringing quality content and relevant links to this content? Few. Although keywords like "mortgages" wouldn't be worth trying for, competition for many other keywords is slim to none.

Right, because I just love to get my ego stroked on nerd central - LOL get real Perry.

    Where did I say that???

lol oh come on, how dumb do you think I am for you to say that so you can sidestep, deflect being put on the spot by being asked what you url is that is listed high?

Adsnese account banned? hee hee Nice deflect. ;)

It took me less than 10 days, or I should say by day ten I was there and have never looked back. I discovered that many people wanted to start their own casino but did not have the know how and that I could help them. I have never fallen below since.

Do you even know my assumptions?

And I already told you one of the reasons why it is so overrated.

    Where did I say that?

And I'm still waiting where I said those other statements that you said I made.

lol oh shit! Guess again. And there are not "millions" on one product, or even a hundred products.

*shrugs shoulders* Beats me why you lied, exagerrated or didn't tell the whole story like that. But, quite frankly, I don't care. Just don't expect to go on a message board and make statments like you have made and not be questioned on it, like, what is your url, and then be put on the spot when you make an excuse on why you won't show your url.

There are some here, including myself who are more experienced than you, so we can spot BS three city blocks away when you do that. :)

Now, if you boys don't mind, let me be the first to get this thread back on track.

The question asked is: How long did it take you to reach $100/Day???

    Yes.

    Assumptions.

    Here, same quote.

How many products are there to promote on the internet Perry? Take a wild guess, as long as it's over at least 100,000, you're probably near the figure.

Considering with the Ebay affiliate program you can promote pretty much anything and everything on Ebay, your possibilities are limitless. There are multiple keywords for all products/services.

Wow... calling someone a liar on an internet forum. You're mature.

BTW, my original reply to this topic:

    Such exaggeration.

It's odd to think that you view these forums as some kind of highschool style webmaster popularity contest, when it's exactly the opposite. Everyone here is to share ideas and learn from each other. This is my last reply to you Perry, arguing with stubborn kids is entertaining at first but gets old quick.

Sorry, wrong again. It's not an assumption. It's a fact.

UGH! Okay, I'll type this slow...I said it is luck. Don't put YOUR definition on it. Of course it can be hard work if one was to actually do it. Duh. Whew.

Once again...there are not millions of keywords on one, or even one hundred products. Please, try to keep up.

Wow... saying you did something that ain't true. You're, well, I think some here know what it would be. ;)

    *shrugs shoulders* Yeah, and???

It's odd to think that you view these forums as some kind of highschool style webmaster popularity contest, in additon to trying to be somebody. Everyone here is to share ideas and learn from each other, so try to be honest with them next time, so they don't keep running into unnecessary obstacles, thus prematurely quitting, and letting their domain expire.

    Have a nice night.

Your the first one to discover that a system like the Google algorithm factors in "luck". I think you're really breaking ground here - LOL.

I better catch me Green Leprechaun so I can get better Google rankings.

No shit Perry. Somehow you turned "There's millions of different keywords." into "There's millions of different keywords on one product." How you did this, I do not know.

The point was there's millions of keywords combined, on different niches and products to target. Do you really think competition is going to be stiff on all of these keywords? Of course not.

Yes, it's true that the majority do prematurely quit - many very quickly. I have tried teaching this to a best friend in the past and he posted about 5 articles and hasn't worked on his website since. I just don't think people are willing to put in the effort, but this is just typical human behavior if you really think about it.

Let go of the strange issues you're holding onto and give it another try. You're a good writer, I can tell you would come up with good content.

This is the kind of traffic I get. All completely natural, but over time I've had to buy links or market with articles and social bookmarking to get there. So in essence it's not exactly free, but it's very much residual which is nice.

I started with less than a $1 a day and 1 website. In a year I have 10 websites earning $50-$60 a day, 3 inactive which I am getting out of the sandbox soon.

The best time to start is now.

There are two types of people the thinkers and the doers, the thinkers are the day dreamers that are all think, think, think but no action while an entrepreneur is a pure doer, they act on instinct.

Usually it takes less than a month if you know what you're doing.
It's a very good idea to research a lot before starting a new project. That helps a lot!
