If you do that, your domain will be banned within 1 day. So, don't think to do such of work. Email is not just a thing that you type and press at send button. There’ve lots of rules and regulation have made by the US Government for all global Internet users.

If you just an affiliate and wanna to send referral link to people, that may be safe if that website allowed you. Here you have nothing to loss. SellingPPP.com has allowed to publisher to contact with other people in this way. But they are not allowed to send referral link at the first contact. In first contact you need to describe about the program and if they reply and wanna join that program than only you can send link.

Well I don't think anyone will ban your domain in a day (and banned from what?). But you've got to remember that it will probably be seen as spam and you're probably better off with users who have sought you out rather than vice versa. Why not just go to where these people communicate online and build a presence there? Then they will find you. :)

That's guy wanna to collect email from Goolge. Do you think he will collect only 5 or 10 emails? When more than 100 people complain about the website to his ISP provider, definitely that website will be banned.

    I think you know it.

Yes, if you do that it will be considered spam and the search engines probably won't give you good rankings. Not to mention the bad reputation it would give you. The best thing you could probably do is just join a forum/group on your niche and introduce yourself and get to know people.

Start building relationships there its much easier.

ask yourself - would YOU consider you'd been spammed if you were the one receiving it?

    I think you would.

I think it would be surely considered spam, best if you do networking with the people you're going to target, just for example if you write an article about how to quit smoking with some unique idea and discuss it on a forums or social site, you will find people will start coming together.

How is different from a sales person looking up the doctor's phone number and calling the clinic to ask if they can fax through some info. Is email so sacred?

Opt in pages with a decent freebie would be better.

Again.. I will like to refine the idea.

When doctors are sitting in their clinics.. Lot of people go to him to market their products (medicines or whatever) . and Doctors need those people .

If you give some gud free service like social networking of Doctors/Patients/for Research people or any category , I AM SURE... no one will mind to join the site for FREE ( free is keypoint).

You are giving an oppurtunity to all to get info and share info.

    So go ahead.

may not get banned but certainly will not get the PR that you are looking for, instead make your site inviting and worth joining and then people will join on thier own, you just need to advertise in areas where you think your users already are

For all of you who says his website will be banned, that is totally incorrect.

I send 1 million spam emails a day through a privately hosted email server in China.
And I scan these emails through the internet using mailto: tag, following blogs to blogs, sites to sites.
I also scan public directories for emails.

Sure, it's illegal. What are they going to do, sue me? Go ahead...

They're not gonna ban your Domain name--give me a break, kids.

If I send 50 million emails from SJBS3BNS.info to advertise Digital Point...do you think they'll ban Digital Point.com?

    ...

The most the spam filters can do is:

    1. Ban your IP -- In that case, you use a self set up proxy
    2. Contact your Hosting Service -- why...Just host everything yourself...
    3. Contact your ISP and disable your internet -- My sender ISP is in China, they don't even speak English.
    4. Ban SJBS3BNS.info -- Who gives a crap...just get another domain name. Info domain names cost a dollar on godaddy...

    And yes, it's unethical

OH, and I make up my own opt-in information.
It's not hard to lie about the IP of the registered user and the time he/she registered

Thanks Chantown for that truthful straightforward opinion. There are certainly many ways around the internet Policing.
