Why US Army kill civilians in IRAQ?

Hello,

This is my first thread in Politics. First of all, I am not a terrorist or terrorism supporter or anything.

But I doubt why the US army kill civilians in IRAQ for no reason? Why don't they fight with the FIGHTERS.

I have seen them in Youtube. An IED exploded near a house and destroyed a HUMVEE. Soldiers went into that house and killed / wounded many of the civilians inside the house for no reason. They had nothing to do with the IED. It exploded near their house, so who says they did it?

The thing that made me post here was that they killed an Old man, which was inside that house. That made me very sad.

Bad apples I guess, the USA just has more bad apples than anyone else. This could be fixed though with better training, I think the USA's military method of quantity over quality is showing in Iraq and Afghanistan, it is a bad way to run things.

If they are killing , then why do they film it ? After they film it , are they responsible for that crime ?

But imagine if our soldiers were never put into the position of fighting this lie of a war?

 

Why are the Iraqi insurgents called terrorists? Because they fight US soldiers?

Why don't they call US soldier Terrorist for doing this crime (killing civilians) ?......

I don't agree with this one bit.

#1 I do not agree that the US has more 'bad apples than anyone else'
#2 The US military is some of the best trained soldiers on the face of the planet.

You might have something on the 'quality' issue as the standards for soldiers have gone down from what I've read.

 

You have no hand in how you are perceived. People will paint you however they want.

 

The reason is they are Muslim, Poor etc, waiting to see Newton's 3rd Laws of Motion

 

'Best trained soldiers' do not massacre innocent families

 

Training does not have everything to do with someones state of mind.

You can 'train' a mass serial killer to be well trained, doesn't equate to him not killing supposed innocent families.

there are several reasons why civilians die in wars, for example in Gaza, its because Hamas use them as shields, in West Bank its because Fatah use them as shields, in South Lebanon, its because Hizballah use them as shields, in Iraq, its because Iraqi fighters use them as shields,

any other incident is an accident

 

Well they shouldn't employ people with unstable state of minds, would you seriously hire a mass serial killer for such a responsible job? I do get what you are saying though, but it is my opinion the USA has the best equipment and best resources but the troops are the weak point (same with Israel)

Can I ask you something, is it true people join the military to get into college?

Can you name any specific situations where civilians have been killed by the US Army in Iraq for no reason?

Most of this is just propaganda. There are numerous propaganda films being created by Muslims, such as the one where it appears that the military is massacring a group of soccer players. It has been proven to be utterly false. No such incident happened.

The only situations that I have seen are very isolated incidents that were provoked by an attack on the US military. When someone just kills your buddies in an unprovoked attack, you might also overreact.

It is pretty obvious that the overwhelming number of civilians killed in Iraq are killed by other Muslims in unprovoked attacks. Perhaps you should ask yourself why that is happening.

Ahh someone 'might' it doesn't make it right, nor does it make them fit to wear the uniform doing exactly the opposite of what the uniform stands for.

 

I agree, Grim. But our guys are being prosecuted when guilty of this. Plus these are extremely isolated incidents. Atrocities are committed by Muslims against Muslims in Iraq on a daily basis.

Can you name any other military in the world that polices and convicts their own members during a war? They are not there to blow whistles and hand out traffic tickets.

We also do not know if the people in the house in the incident that farooqaaa mentioned were actually innocent. The US military team that was attacked had some reason for retaliating against the house. You will never get the truth out of the Iraqis.

Personally, I don't believe that farooqaaa is as neutral as he claims based upon his choice of avatar.
