Well, in no more than a week I started an Adult site and maxed out my hosting account lol..... I put the site up live April 22, and since then I have used 75% of my 80GB of bandwidth. Keeping in mind that I currently make no money off this site and dont really have a lot to spend on hosting, what is the most cost effective solution? Thanks.
I think you should optimize for some of the popular keywords and promote through adult forums/dating sites/adult social sites etc.
A few hundred unique users a day with 2,000 + pageviews a day. I was not expecting the videos to suck up as much bandwidth as they are.... Shit adds up quick when you have a 70MB clip being accessed 450 times in 2 days lol. Im currently in the process of moving everything to my own server
Hmm... from your stats you either have... 1. Very popular, high traffic site and off to a good start 2. A tube site of some kind with long movies, and burning your bandwidth.
80GB of bandwidth? what hosting do you have that gives so little bandwidth? I'm not suprised..adult sites can get very popular very quickly and 80GB of bandwidth sometimes might be good for a day or two.

Verify hotlinking, enabling page compresion via .htaccess and change to a server offering more bandwith are just a few steps to optimize your site. I have an adult site hosted on Servage an, with 5 Terabyte bandwidth transfer, I have not to worry about traffic.
