Maybe your site was unavailable at some point which meant some of your pages got dropped.

Maybe there is an update at msn. It makes sites dropped and reindexed.

ranking top in MSN is one of the easiest things you can do. get some links and optimize the site well, that's all, basically.

Sometimes the links will drop for a few days and them come back. Give it a few days and see what happens.

In terms of getting good listings, more then google, msn relies on onsite optimization as well as the usual backlinks

Try linking to your sitemap from forum signature links.

It says moreover in parentheses, I assume it is the same as this --

    http://api.moreover.com/ping?u=http://www.YourSiteMapURL.com

So do you think putting my sitemap url in the forum sig will help to get it crawled?

Great ! I spent a lot of time searching for a way to submit a site map to MSN.

Yahoo, Google and Microsoft are working together so that sitemaps can be found via robots.txt[/QUOTE]

I have three sitemaps for my forum from vBSEO (see http://www.mapforums.com/sitemaps-google-yahoo-msn-ask-5873.html )

Do you think it hurts to submit all three? I mean will some search engines only consider one per site or do you think they can all handle multiple sitemaps for one site?

I submitted all three to moreover and ask, but I wonder if I should only submit the XML sitemap.. or do you think it doesn't matter?

    Thanks,
    Eric
