You need to FTP upload it your website. You can use any FTP program for that. You also need to submit sitemap to search engines.
Create an account with google webmaster tools and submit the sitemap.xml file to google. Prior to submission, upload the sitemap.xml file to your server.

You have two options, but I prefer the one that lets me create an empty .html file with the specified name given by Google. u must be having a website for which u created this sitemap.xml ?? you must be able to add some static pages to that website? put your site map @ yoursite.com/sitemap.xml and than link to it from google webmasters tool if you cant upload anything to your sites pages .. in case of free host. try uploading your feed as sitemap
