Hi DP Members, I have a question. Does the use of softwares such as Webposition and IBP really help us to see our sites getting to the top of the list in major search engines. How many of you really trust and uses the softwares to optimize the content of your sites? Please comment.
NO Only thing these software does (apart from they making money) is make you feel like ... hmmmm i did submit my website and optimized them.. I have used IPB and didnt see any result which is worth comparing!
This is my line of thought as well, but I want to find out whether there are people who had success with such softwares.
you are not 100% right. softwares are good for reporting. specially webposition is very good in reporting
It is very true that web position reporting tool is really great. But how about the content optimization part?
Some SEO software is good, however nothing beats manually doing SEO yourself, plus you can then learn how to do everything, and how it all works. I recommend you stick to reading forums learning for yourself and applying it to your site.
All they really do is save you time by doing things you would normally do manually. They are not a magic bullet and you won't rank just because you own them, most things i still do manually because there were no tools when i started and it's habit.
