My Yahoo messagner not showing any messages :( help me

    when some sends me message In yahoo,i am unable to see it even other person is also unable to see my messages :(

    how can i fix this

    could it only be with your connection?

    but when you type your message do you see what you are actually typing?

    yes when i type, i can see what i am typing but when i hit enter --nothing shows up :(

    Try to remove it completely (uninstall) and install it again. Hope it works.

    what connection speed are you on?
    it never shows up even after few minutes?

    i beleive some application running in background is interfering with yahoo IM functions

    i am using 2mbps broadband.....i closed applications from task manger,but still same problem

    options:

    1. reinstall should work but
    when you uninstall, you log out of yahoo IM and completely exit it and no longer showing in task bar correct?
    if not, do that and reinstall because sometimes it is due to corruption of files and incomplete uninstall

    2. check your font setting to see if the font display is auto changed to blank/white by some wares.

    3. there could be spyware interfering..have you run clenaing?

    4. does older yahoo IM versinos happen the same or just this one?
    if it is try installing older version and see how it goes.

    5. or was it just today? because yahoo mail even keeps going down once in a while today and yesterday.
    maybe their problem
