Im thinking of promoting runyourcarwithwater.com But Im worried that a lot of people will ask for refunds and it will plunge me into debt as this is (I presume) a hoax.
3 options here. Don't promote the product at all. Buy the product, test it out and see if it's a scam or not. Just promote it and see what the refund percentage is.
How do you know its a hoax? Have you bought the product and tested it? There are tons of other products to promote. Like for example how to make 3000 a day performing who doo search engine ninja tactics working only 2 hours a day in your pj's!
Look up the stats at clickbank, that product certainly makes some money and with oil prices the way they are now that type of product is going to be in demand. I myself are thinking of promoting it.
promote something else like health products and registry cleaners, refunds for me in these areas are 0% even after hundreds of sales.
I'm promoting this right now with PPC, so far the refund rate is about 6% which isn't too bad for a clickbank product.
BOOM! http://www.wholovesmoney.com/resources/refund_calc.php (Kyle, Carson, I'll remove the link if you don't like it )
To calculate the potential refund rate, just go to the sale page and find the total price when purchased:$97. Then find out how much you get as an affiliate from the marketplace: 50% or $46.50. Then grab the $/sale: $44.33. The refund rate should be: 100 - 44.33/46.50 or about 5%. Not bad. But a few months ago, there was one product in Clickbank in this niche. Now there are something like eight. I would choose the best of those. Chances are the highest ranked one is the original and the rest are copycats.
it's not a hoax...but it's not *really* water, either. It's hydrogen. Hydrogen cards do exist. And yes, hydrogen is derived from water...but the name is a bit deceptive. It makes it sound like you can stick your garden hose in the tank!
I was really tempted to comment this in many "drive-water" threads that I've seen and finally I can't hold it any more... Haven't any of you studied physics in high school? Law of conservation of energy rings any bells? These schemes use electricity from alternator (which takes energy from engine) to break down water into hydrogen and oxygen. This energy is then released when hydrogen burns in the engine if it ever makes it there. The amount of energy released is equal to the amount of energy it took to break down water. Otherwise it would have been "perpetum mobile". So you take energy from engine and then release it back there (same amount minus system efficiency) If that's not enough... Even if you didn't need any energy at all to break down water and you got all the hydrogen for free - hydrogen that is produced when breaking down 1 gallon of water produces less than 50% of energy released when burning 1 gallon of gasoline. Bottom line - if properly assembled this system is going to be moderately harmless to your engine. Mostly harmless if you are lucky. Why low refunds? Because most people are too lazy to get one.
Well Put K. I am actually promoting this as well - and doing well with it, no refunds yet (knocks on wood). As Karabas said though, it's just that - physics conversions put into what appears to be an impractical application, yet it feeds the need of millions/billions of people (current world pop = 6billion). I spoke with the owners of some of these products, and all be it there ARE actually different systems, it's not just one and only one, each even have their own patents. Having said that - if you remember FAL, his product does well, the drivewater IS AN EXACT copy paste of fals and comes with no helpdesk/support so be careful with that one... water4gas and fals customers are well taken care of to minimize refunds and retain sales. Don't be afraid to promote it, however before you do - educate yourself on the products well, read the sales pages, email the vendors and ask for a free copy - the demand is HUGE, however if you come ill prepared you'll lose time or money or both. Cheers. Norb.
As someone that has taken university physics, chemistry and chemical engineering courses, I'm going to go ahead and disagree. I think you have a flawed view of the laws of conservation of energy. The energy used to hold the molecules of hydrogen and oxygen together isn't being used to power the car. The car would be powered by burning the hydrogen molecules, which is completely unrelated. The energy required to breakup H2O is completely unrelated to the energy achieved through the combustion of hydrogen. I have no idea if you need more energy to separate the molecules of water than you get from burning hydrogen, but you definitely can't make any conclusions from your logic.
Oh but you can do that. Then you will need a new car! This product converts pretty good for us. (we promote this one and some similar) But here is a tip for how we got conversions (no I am not going to post our url, hehe) We did a review site, got a custom template , custom reviews with over 10,000 total words in 3 pages. We then bought links on big local news websites for major citys. (example city that worked decent was clickondetroit.com) With the correct wording in your ad copy you will make a very nice ROI on the whole investment of the site build , content and ad itself. Also radio ad's work well. But again this is all in your ad copy, and then in your site they land on. This might sound like much, but if you can plan it out, make the initial investment, you can do good with this product, or just apply this to others. Hope this helps Nicole
