This is not true. Akismet does not filter based upon receipt url, or at least they didn't 3-4 months ago. I made a comment spammer you can download here. I stopped using it when the dofollow/nofollow thing came along, as it was pointless to continue spamming. As near as I can tell, the filtering was based upon the ip address of the person submitting as well as the text contained within the 'spam comment'. If you alternate names, comments, and use numerous cheap VPS' and/or proxy servers to spam from then the spam post would get through akismet without issue. It also helps when you spam to make interesting comments instead of just "nice blog!" or "nice post!" comments. I've also found when you're spamming you get the most results if the site you're spamming to is political in nature. I believe this is due to the proliferation of political blogs on the internet. Most of the blogs you end up spamming are political in nature. Just my 2 cents.. They could've changed akismet, and started filtering based url of the spammer's site would be much more efficient.
what if your name is your keywords? to us this depends hows it done. if it says "best online insurance sales" maybe not. if it said john@seo-company it would be ok. and whether the comment is useful or gibberish.
That's why I'm going into the county clerks/recorders office and I'm changing my name to "Sacramento Wedding DJs"....LOL
Thanks very much for this contact info. No matter how many that you have, there are always some very good ones, that remain unknown by many, especially to me! Don
