Are all sedo domain sales real?

I see some seemingly trash domain names on sedo supposedly selling for thousands of dollars and have a hard time believing some of these transactions are actually taking place.

Im talking .infos and other seeminly crap names bringing in good money. Names that if I asked for an appraisal here you guys would say 10$ or something lol. Are all these sales legit??

Well I guess if pizza.NET went for 1 million then anything is possible lol.

Im signed up at sedo right now and trying to figure out the auction process.

So I need to just fill in the min offer and then when someone eventually makes it the domain will then go on auction ???

Seem like a weird system. How do people find the domain to put the initial bid? Do you essentially need to showcase it ect?

    Any help appreciated.

Can you recommend a legit site then?

Also im still not sure how to get my domains on the auction block. I know someone has to bid first or something but I dont fully understand the process and the domain sales I see often seem sketchy on sedo.

Hardest way to sell domain names is to find customers from all forums and existing sites, that is what our project does - http://dnsnote.com
    For a fast sales :
Best legit site for domain reselling is ebay, there you will see really sales without any fake, but to make a good sale on ebay you need a good marketting skills. You need good designed image to make it catchy in eyes of millions visitors, you need good description of domain name, and you need a good domain name.
Most stable domain names sales on ebay are 4 letter llll's domain names, if you have one you can make about 50-250$ on it.
Second good place for fast sale is to sell domain names at namepros.com or digitalpoint you will see there real sales and real offers BUT namepros have a very strict rules .
Sedo and tdnam(godaddy) ? If I will sell there one day or find really buyer I will tell you here .. I've got 500$ bid on tdnam for wholeshops.com , till now I think it was someone from godaddy team .. sedo the same .

i think the people who buy on sedo are gernerally people who do not understand the domain market much, I mean if they buy a crap name for $2000 then they dont really care..

there are end user sales in sedo as well, when we value domains here we mostly tell what it is worth for a reseller. what is worth for a reseller is the money which you can make if you are looking at a quick sale. finding a end user is luck :)

Well after the fee rape its not surprising they all sell fairly high I guess.

That guy paid MINIMUM $50 20% commision to sell that assuming he did not pay for any extras like featured listing.

The high priced ones can be confirmed on DNJournal, but there's not really a way to check the other ones.
