One of my main sites which I've had since 1997 and has had a PR of 4 for years now is today showing a PR of 0. Actually several of my PR4 sites are down to zero. What should I make of this and what should I/can I do about it if anything?
Actually when I view them with Google Toolbar on FF, they show they're at 4, but other tools show them at zero. Is there a definitive place to check this somewhere?
The PR change is probably going on right now so give it a couple weeks and they will go back to normal.
I agree with EternalSonata, I think you should wait a few weeks this is a normal occurrence when google is updating their page rank.
Nope..PR is updating today. Check the 74.xxx.xx.xxx ranges of datacentres, they're all going up across the board for me
really where are you checking? i dont found any DC starting with 74.xxx ? Only 88.xxx.xxx.xxx are updating for me
http://livepr.ezer.com/ Almost all the domains I've done any work on these past few months have changed on the same or different datacentres, this can only mean there's an update underway.
lol But honestly, i'm seeing 100% confirmed update on 209.85.139.104 and 72.14.255.104 See here and look down the left, it's a 6 on those two IP's and that domain has never been a 6. Time to change Google tool bar to use those DC's so i can browse and check out the new values.
Okay, confirmed updates on: 209.85.139.104 72.14.255.104 72.14.253.99 72.14.255.17 72.14.253.104 72.14.253.99 I think all 72.14.253.XX have updated. Any more? Keep adding to the list
72.xx.xxx.xx are up for sure and something is happening there. I have a blog ( Creation Date: 2008-03-05 ) ring the bell and get a pr4. I notice some changes on subdirectory of my sites too ( from pr0 to pr3 ). I will check the rest tomorrow.
LOL! This tool shows PR1 for all my projects (real PR vary between PR3 and PR7), www.yahoo.com, www.google.com have PR1 too
Indeed. It's been working fine for the past hour or two, seems the rush of traffic has killed their API queries. However, SmartPageRank.jp will show the results. Many datacentres have gone down or are showing PR0 for ALL sites.
