Use Google Webmaster Tool to see if there's some prob with your sitemap or not. If you find some prob then correct it else wait for some time (and build links) as it can take some time.

Google indexing job is so intricate that my mind refuses to understand it: one of my sites containing more than 25 pages has 1 page indexed by Google, and another site that has just 6-7 news articles and some minor pages has them indexed even several types (maybe because of Joomla! ?) I suppose it will really take a lot of time before Google understands what is good and and what is trash.

You can also check if you have submitted URL's with querystrings in your sitemap. Theese links often takes longer to index (if they choose to index them at all). I think you're supposed to be allowed to use up to 3 queries in the URI, but I guess it depends on how your URL's are formatted.

Build back links for internal pages. This will help in indexing more pages.

you can also create a sitemap page that links to all of the pages in your site. Patience, they'll end up in the index eventually :)

I agree this is the most important way to get more pages indexed. Even if you have a lot of links to your domain, the internal linking system might not pass on enough link juice to get all of the pages to the threshold they need to reach. More links, more links! Even internal links can help if they're organized well.

You're doing much better than me. Google indexes about 5% of my links. :(
