Driving traffic to my new site - Bid Burglar (Also feedback would be nice)

Hi All,

I've just launched a site which places last minute bids (snipes) on eBay. It's called BidBurglar

It's only been going for a week and it's getting just over 100 uniques per day. Is this good and has anyone got any suggestions on how to market the site?

Also what do you think of the site?

That was a unique concept for me. Making your design and layout as simple as possible is good. It emphasizes the concept and content of the site. If you really want to gain more traffic you must advertise you site more to your target market.

 

Just start building links, maybe start an adwords campaign...The design is rock solid, looks really good.

Good advice Gotcha. Thanks for mentioning my site...it really is the best one out of all of them . The reason I posted here is because we have been working on new methods to display our/ your articles. Ways in which are "different" and more effective then others. From a user, site admin, and spider point of view we think we have a pretty good new recipe that is a perfect blend of "Human Judgement" and "Smart Software". I am not sure how many others have experience with this sort of a artcle sumbmission site but it is pretty amazing what some authors are doing:

Art#1: The big red cat ran across the street.
Art#2: A huge redish colored feline moved to the other side of the road.
Art#3: The fat red feline quickly jaunted over the other side of the road.

I think you get the idea. Although I find this interesting and even creative, it doesn't add to the quality of the net or our website. These articles are written so cleverly that I don't think ANY algo would see it as DUP . For this and other reasons we have not been posting submissions for the past few weeks. CONCLUSION: human eyes are the only way to ensure "pure to the topic" good evergreen content. We are taking that extra step.

Now we review with software and human eyes each and every article and validate its context INCLUDING synonomous spins. We have cleaned it up pretty good and have approved ALL pending articles. You can see what we are doing here .

I notice that a fair amount of submissions that come from DP and I value that . Just wanted everyone that is a valued author to be in the know.
