Hi, I just put nofollow tags on certain links like terms etc, and then alt and meta tags... then offpage optimization all the way to the bank. Do not focus much on onpage... Karl
Yes, make sure to submit to tons of directories. When it comes down to it, if you have a lot of links to specific posts, then it will help with your SEO... and if you need a start-up blog directory list, I compiled one on my blog. Hope it helps!
for onpage optimization i recommend you read SEO made asy by Brad Callen. That is some quality info in that book that is too long to explain in this forum. just google it and you will find it, the guy is a genius. i won't even give you an affiliate link because i HONESTLY recommend it.
