I think not! I have a blog and a site that is hosted in the same hosting the site has a link in my blog but doesn't see my that blog as source of backlink for my site.
That is an interesting question. I don't know if google looks at the whois information. I doubt it though because it is often incorrect. You need your domains hosted with different C class ip's for the links to count more.
I know that dedicated IPs are very important to tell SE that "They are different sites", but if SE compare the WHOIS, they will know that the links can be manipulated, I wonder if SE aware of this
Don't interlink your sites If you have them on difrent ip's then is ok As for the whois infi i doubt it counts ...
interlinking two sites that are highly related and exist on the same site, makes perfect sense. I would say it is perfectly allowable to interlink sites on the same ip, if they are subject related. I would also think that Google would count these as proper links. However, I would advise against getting too agressive in trying to interlink your unrelated sites (that is a big no-no).
Don't do it from the same ip is all, if you used different hosting with different ip adress the it's fine
never interlink, always upwards link ... regardless of dns info, ip or c blocks interlinking is a link farm upwards linking is for the promotion of 1 site from many
i have 4 video sites, same ip different domain and want to interlink them together with linktator to help with indexing . i know the link is not valued much but would i get penalized for interlinking. i just want to do it for indexing purposes and not to try to gain rank.
