    Hi,

I am working on a SEO project, and I was wondering what I should do next. This is what I've already done:

    - metatags
    - <h1> <h2> <h3> tags
    - variations in text lenght, keyword density and use of tags (to see what is the ideal combination for this site)
    - I've made a list with all the keywords I am optimising for (about 150), and I have a unique script to check for the the rankings easely.
    - Link building is in progress, more concrete I am contacting related websites for a link exchange. Since this page is aming for Belgian/Dutch people it is useless to submit articles to article directories (we don't have that here).

a bit more info on the site: The site is for webmasters and has lots off dutch articles on it. From the basic needs (hosting) to promoting and earning money with a site.
I am trying to get a good ranking for all the categories, that's why I have such a large keyword list.

    thnx!

Without seeing the site, I'd just recommend to continue building backlinks.

The only other bit of advice i'd offer is 150 keywords is A LOT. Try and establish yourself with 3-5 keywords first. Then if you feel necessary, optimise for more.

    Hi,

Start the real seo stuff, get backlinks. Get some everyday... regularly using your keyword in anchor text.

I figured the same but the way he said it made it sound normal. I'd definately have to agree with dans here and say that you should really be looking at trying to rank page 1 on google for a few keywords before trying to spread out. Target your market as specifically as possible and use a few keywords that are most searched and the least competetive.
